Glenelg Hopkins Catchment Management Authority
Adam Bester currently works as Program Manager for the Waterway and Catchment team with Glenelg Hopkins Catchment Management Authority. He oversees the Glenelg River Restoration Project and has a strong interest in landscape scale restoration projects having also undertaken previous landscape restoration projects managing the Arid Recovery Program in South Australia and Chatham Island fauna recovery program in New Zealand. He has a diverse background with qualifications and positions in biodiversity, marine science, arid ecology and waterway management and has worked with government agencies, universities, NGO’s as well as the mining sector. When Adam is not working or looking after his four kids he runs his own environmental consultancy and chairs the Victorian Waterway Managers Forum.
