Ms O’Shanassy is one of Australia's most influential environmental leaders. She has been the CEO of the Australian Conservation Foundation since April of 2014, and she came to that role after seven years heading up Environment Victoria.  Ms O’Shanassy has also been chair of the, Environment and Community Taskforce for the Office of Living Victoria, director of WaterSmart, as well as of various Victorian government agencies. In 2013 she was a finalist in the Telstra Business Women’s Awards. 

Kelly has had the rare experience of working within the public, private and community sector. In past roles she established world-first water, catchment and marine protection policies, authored Victoria’s Framework for Environmental Sustainability and set ambitious water conservation and sustainable supply actions for Melbourne. 

When not working, you can find Kelly paddling along one of Australia’s magnificent rivers.
